Circa likely 1950's Original 'Salmon' tweed covering. Structurally sound and a great candidate for restoration. All metal parts intact. Mechanics all function fine. Light wear and scratches to base aluminum. finish. Chair adjusts up and down. Back adjustable. Tilts w/ tension adjustment. All 4 castors / wheels fine. We actually used this chair in our photo studio for many years, here at Oak Tree Vintage, but our photographer updated his chair so does not need this one.  NEW LISTING 8/22/11 (Click on above thumbnails to enlarge photos) VINTAGE ART DECO CHROME BOOKENDS 'TWIN SCROLL' 'WALNUT AND CHROME' BY REVERE DESIGNED BY FRED D. FARR MADE IN USA. Circa 1935-36 Original 1930's, 'Twin-Scroll' Chrome and Walnut bookends, in BEAUTIFUL, original condition. These 'book scrolls' were designed for Revere metal company in 1935 by Fred Farr. Entire unit is in superb condition. No surface corrosion or rust. No crazing to the chrome plating or dents to the scrolls. Original 'spiral' attachment nails under the bottom plate felt still holding solidity. Original green felt still in great condition. Original wood finish still in excellent condition with no major dents. Measures about 5" high by 6" in diameter. There were three other models of this made, a #295 'Red w/ Chrome', a #296, 'White w/ Copper band', and #297, 'Black & Chrome'. Great for smaller books, CD's or DVD's. Cond. 8.5 $99.

 NEW LISTING 8/17/11 (Click on above thumbnails to enlarge photos) RETRO PARKER 'JOTTER' PEN SET #90-503 STAND MADE IN USA. Circa likely Late 1950's early 1960's Retro, Parker Pen desk stand, the 'Jotter', model #90-503. Great design, made of Bakelite and Aluminum. Does have a few chips to the Bakelite that are not particularly noticeable even though they show up in photos. I didn't even notice them when I purchased it, and my photographer pointed them out. Originally came with a couple of black, plastic pens (one would have been 'black' ink / fine tip and one 'blue' ink / med tip and are not included as this one came in without them). Top 'pen holder' section tilts. Measures about 12" wide by 3" deep and about 3.5" tall. Cond. 7.5 (due to chips) $69. |

 (Click on above thumbnails to enlarge photos) "BIG" NUDE "VENUS" HANGING OIL / RAIN LAMP SOLD for sale One of the most iconic items from the early '70's. The Nude lady, oil-rain lamp. Remember seeing these in many doctors offices as a kid? Heck, it's a lamp, with a naked chick showering in the rain. How do you top that?! This one has been totally disassembled and cleaned inside and out (no easy task). Internally it has the later model and larger "Little Giant" pump. We have had the smaller pumps on most of the previous versions of this. It is also the model with metal, not plastic top and bottom caps. This one looks new, but is approx. 30 years old. The Mono-filaments are all perfectly intact and tight. None of the typical "yellowing" of the filaments or caked on dust from years of not being cleaned. Entire lamp was disassembled and cleaned for restoration. Bronze finish intact and all looks new. All the plastic foliage has been removed and cleaned as well. The internal pump tube is clean and the motor / pump runs well. This is the large one with the double rows of mono-filament and the "nude" lady. It's the one! Chain / AC cord about 8 feet long. Measures 36+ inches tall from tip to tip and 13" in diameter. (Investigate others carefully before deciding that this one is "too much money". Most have all the internal parts dust covered and their internal tubes and pump will be "gunked" up with oil / dust. We have ran into a couple that have actually had "motor oil" ran through them in the past. NOT good! Simply disassembling and cleaning of one will take 4-8 hours.) This one is fully restored and ready to use! SOLD |
