This professional / university / research grade microscope features paired, fine ground glass 10X wide-field eyepieces, right hand mechanical stage with specimen holder. Objectives are fine ground glass 4X, 10X, 40X and 100X for a max of 1000 power. Left eyepiece is independently focusable for compensating for differences in individuals eyes. Eyepieces are mobile for different eye span widths. Variable intensity lighting utilizes separate on/off switch and is controlled by an independent aperture via dilating iris and adjustable beam focus. This piece also features very accurate and precision coarse and fine focus for operation with either left or right hand. Also has adjustable bi-directional slide plane. Slide table also features a "Top position" stop. This is a very important feature that safeguards against accidentally driving the objective lens into your slide / specimen. All metal construction.
