We have completely gone through it cleaning all and adjusting the
head azimuth & track cross-talk for optimum performance and the best
high-frequency response (not normally expected from 8-track
cartridge performance). Head azimuth, track alignment, signal phase
and internal output level pots all adjusted utilizing dual-trace
oscilloscope and factory test tone tape. Internal playback pots also
adjusted w/ O-scope. Entire transport and mechanism has been
disassembled, cleaned, re-lubed and de-magnetized. Program change
mechanism / elevator re-lubed for trouble-free program changes.
Capstan motor completely disassembled, cleaned and re-lubed.
Flywheel / Capstan removed, cleaned, burnished / retextured
and re-lubed. Flywheel thrust plate bearing surface cleaned and
re-greased. New, main drive belt installed for trouble-free service.
All original track indicator lamps work fine and respond to program
/ track changes. Heads have been cleaned and de-magnetized and are
in great shape. Only issues are some scuffs on the top edge of the
face plate trim (see above photos). This machine would be good for
burning your stereo 8-track collection to CD or simply for listening
to your stereo tapes. Tape speed tested with factory 1kHz test tape
for reproduction at 993Hz or 99.3%. Deck looks good and works GREAT!

We have completely gone

performance. Records VERY well at +5dB w/ 1kHz
test tone on NEW Chrome Tape. This machine would be perfect for burning
your 8-track collection to CD.
Tape speed tested with factory 1kHz test tape for
reproduction at 1017Hz or 97.75% accuracy.
Meters even w/ factory test tone tape. Meters even w/ factory test tone
tape. Floor noised tested to a mere 00.1mVAC on both
channels at 75% output and only 00.3mVAC at 100% output. Deck
looks good and works GREAT!

Great
quality 8-track cartridge play / record deck. This is a great deck for
transferring a large amount of tapes to another media as it has two very
important features. 'Locking' Fast
Forward and Auto Stop. These features are used to find the
beginning of track one without going past the beginning of the next
track. Trying to do a lot of transfers, as a business without those two
features will cost a lot of time / money!

refurbished. It's dynamics are astounding! It is aligned so well,

Late 70's
Stereo / Quadraphonic playback deck. This
Sanyo RD-8010 is well built and very simple to operate.
Features:
- Auto Sensing 4-channel mode detection
- Main ''Front
channel' / stereo RCA outputs and additionally there are of
course RCA outputs for the rear channels if used in Quadraphonic
mode
A playback Quadraphonic
4-channel / Stereo 2-Channel 8-track tape deck. Plays both standard
stereo tapes and 4-channal Quadraphonic tapes. Features auto sensor
for discerning between stereo and Quad tapes. Great for burning your
8-track collection to CD or just listening to those old tapes!
Unit very clean with virtually no wear to cosmetics.
Only issues are cosmetic. First there is a repaired crack to the
side of the plastic housing. Secondly, the case / face has typical,
minor scuffs, scrapes / dings. Nothing serious or too distracting.
Encased in vinyl wood grained,
Walnut finish, plastic case. Looks
decent, sounds and works great! Includes our standard 90 day
limited warranty. Measures 9" wide x 9" deep x 3.5" high and weighs
7 lbs unpacked.
