  We have just had the table completely gone through by our turntable tech, cleaning inside and out, lubricating mechanism, adjusting tone arm and testing performance. Internal speed centering pots cleaned with 'De-Ox-Id' and adjusted back to 'center'. External (user) speed adjustment controls then cleaned with 'De-Ox-Id'. Speed checked and verified for accuracy with test strobe disc against built-in strobe monitor. Spindle bearing disassembled, varnished lube removed, cleaned and properly re-lubed. Gimbal bearing, counter weight and anti-skating all adjusted and verified for accuracy. Original dust cover just had fresh buff, and looks decent with a few minor "battle scars" (see photos above). Hinge area solid with both original hinges intact and hold dust cover in 'up-right' position with no sagging. Original rubber mat, still supple and flexible with no hardening. RCA patch cables re-soldered to circuit board. Also, Technics SL-1500's came with some fairly 'anemic' feet installed from the factory. We removed what was left of those and replaced them with a set of our new, Sorbothane Iso Pods.
We installed, a brand new Audio-Technica AT-95E "Green" Elliptical diamond stylus, magnetic cartridge and optimized the tone arm for it. (If you prefer an up-grade you may also choose from our selection of new Audio Technica cartridges that we can also set up and ship with it for the additional cartridge cost.) You can readily connect this table to any receiver, Integrated amplifier with a standard magnetic phono input, or a Pre-amp. To connect to computer for burning CD's just order one of our inexpensive Phono Pre-Amps and cable kits. Again, this table looks and works great!!

Entire table's auto-start / stop / changer mechanism was COMPLETELY disassembled, including 'Main Gear' assembly, 'Actuating Plate' assembly, 'Stop Plate' assembly & 'Tone-Arm Actuator' assembly, every part cleaned of old, gummy lube, re-lubed and reassembled (huge undertaking, by the way).

No cracks, splits, chips or deep gouges. Hinge tab in original 'unbroken' condition. Original Technics' dust cover hinges hold dust cover up well.

Our technician has completely gone through and 'Certified' this unit  cleaning inside and out, lubricating mechanism, adjusting tone arm and testing performance. Speed checked and verified for accuracy with both internal strobe and the shop calibrated strobe disc. Super quality Gimbal tone-arm bearing. Tracks grooves well. Original dust cover just had fresh buff, and looks decent, with only minor scuffing (see photos above). Original hinges and hinge tabs in fine and functioning condition and holds dust cover in the 'up' position fairly well. No cracks, chips, or hairlines. All four original 'shock absorber' feet intact. Original rubber platter mat, lays perfectly flat with no blistering, bubbles or warps. We also inspected and re-installed existing Pickering DLE, elliptically cut diamond stylus, on the, P-mount head shell.  (If you prefer an up-grade you may also choose from our selection of new Audio Technica cartridges that we can also set up and ship with it for the additional cartridge cost.) You can readily connect this table to any receiver, Integrated amplifier with a standard magnetic phono input, or a Pre-amp. ü Our technician has completely gone through and 'Certified' this unit cleaning inside and out, cleaning out ‘gelled’ lubes (a ‘MUST DO’ on all pre-owned / vintage turntables) and re-lubricating mechanism, including entire 'carriage mechanism'. Arm mechanism belt replaced with new #045. Speed tested to >99% accuracy. Dust cover had 2-Stage buffing. Hinge system intact and holds lid in upright position.

Again, our turntable tech has completely and EXTENSIVELY gone through this Technics SL-J2 turntable as stated above and 'certified' it's ready to go! Table looks great with fresh "buff" to dust cover. Very clean! This is very similar to one of the tables I use personally. Utilizes "P" mount cartridge.   We have just completely gone through the turntable cleaning inside and out, lubricating mechanism, adjusting tone arm and testing performance. Speed checked and verified for accuracy with both internal strobe and the shop calibrated strobe disc. Super quality Gimbal tone-arm bearing. Stop mechanism adjusted and tested. All functions work great! Original dust cover just had fresh buff, and looks very good, with only light scuffing! Original hinges and hinge tabs in fine and functioning condition and holds dust cover in the 'up' position well. No cracks, chips, or hairlines. All four original 'shock absorber' feet intact. Original rubber platter mat, lays perfectly flat with no blistering, bubbles or warps. We also inspected and re-installed existing Audio-Technica DC-20, elliptically cut diamond stylus, on the, P-mount head shell.  (If you prefer an up-grade you may also choose from our selection of new Audio Technica cartridges that we can also set up and ship with it for the additional cartridge cost.)   Great quality and easy to use. What more could you ask for?! The Technics SL-QD33. Designed utilizing a Quartz locked motor for constant platter rotation speed and good isolation characteristics. Very quality build and like most Technics turntables, it's 'built like a tank'.
