PRE-OWNED ADC STEREO GRAPHIC EQUALIZER "SOUND SHAPER" ONE TEN / 110 #...8388 Circa '84-'85 SOLD 4/1/09 for sale We have just completely gone through this one. As the "EQ", Tape Monitor, and Record switches do not respond to the normal, simple cleaning on these ADC's, all three control "push" switches removed, disassembled, contacts individually burnished and completely cleaned with solvent for many more years of trouble-free service. This is a time consuming process, but the best way to insure performance. We injected both channels with 1kHz sine waves, and monitored switch performance on an oscilloscope with no visible issues after switch re-build. Great quality, dual 10 band EQ. Built very well and made for great "sonic" performance. These were one of the most sold EQ's ever made for a reason. Great sound, great looks and simple to use. The 10 frequency centers are as follows starting at the low-end: 31Hz - 62Hz - 125Hz - 250Hz - 500kHz - 1kHz - 2kHz - 4kHz - 8kHz & 16kHz. Unit features: - Each of the graphic controls feature a full +-12db of cut / boost (instead of the common 10 db) - Long 60mm in throw length high quality, linear, de-tented faders (most home units are 30 - 40mm) - Tape monitor, tape dubbing and recording with EQ curve - EQ bypass - An un-switched AC convenience jack located on the back rated at 200 Watts EQ is in great shape and looks NEW. Again, we have completely gone through this unit and tested all functions. It works and sounds GREAT! Measures 15.25" wide x 8.25" deep x 6.25" tall and weighs 10 lbs unpacked. These were originally designed for setting your system to record scheduled FM radio shows and Album rock. They also can be used to turn your system into a Super-Hi-Fi Alarm clock radio and / or just as the ultimate and really cool digital clock. This is from a collection of these that took us a long time to amass. Many of these will erratically change / advance the time after they've been on for 1 or 2 hours. This is one of the few out of the many we get that keeps time perfectly and was checked over a 1 week period. Entire unit was disassembled and cleaned inside and out, including the internal switches. All functions test perfectly. This is the one with the Blue Fluorescent digital readout and brushed aluminum face plate that matches with such gear as the SA-9800, SA-608, CT-F1250, 950, 900, 750, 700, 650, 600, SR-303, RG-2 and RT-909. It likely also matches, cosmetically with other Pioneer gear and of course will functionally match with most any audio gear. Use it to turn on most anything with a latched or mechanical power switch. Will switch up to 500 watts via dual AC outlets. With the exception of some very minor scuffing on the display window, the unit looks near new and works great! VINTAGE PIONEER GRAPHIC EQUALIZER SG-9500 SG9500 Circa 1977-79 "WORLD AC POWER" ™ MIJ SOLD 11/27/09 for sale One of the two sought after Pioneer Graphic EQ's. The Pioneer SG-9500. Classic Vintage 70's Pioneer look. Face is a thick milled, brushed aluminum plate with matching milled, aluminum switch caps. These look great racked up in a "Spec" System, and of course will add great sonic control to most stereo systems. Super quality build inside and out. Features include: - One Octave Graphic EQ - 10 Graphic bands of control - +- 10dB Cut / Boost - 70mm Long Throw, Linear Pots - Individual OP amps per each frequency range, no coils results in stable performance over time since coils can drift in values - The 10 frequency centers are as follows (starting at the low-end): 32Hz-64Hz-125Hz-250Hz -500Hz-1KHz-2KHz-4KHz 8KHz & 16KHz - Tape Monitor (Tape Monitors can be used with Video / CD / DVD / VCR / DAT / iPod / MP3 / XM / SIRUS CDR (CD recorders as well as for inserting signal processors, such as EQ's, Reverbs, Spatial Enhancers / Dynamic Processors, Noise Reduction units, Special Effects units, Time Delays, etc) Dubbing can be used with CDR (CD recorders) units) - EQ Record function, for imprinting EQ curve to recordings - EQ defeat / bypass - Rear mounted, Un-switched AC convenient outlet rated at 200 watts - True "WORLD AC POWER"™ as it will work on both 50 or 60 Hz AC and voltages from 110-240 volts AC Original Specs: # Channels; 2 (stereo) # Graphic Bands; 10 # Cut / Boost dB's: 10± Input Impedance 100kΩ Output Impedance: 600 Ω Signal to Noise Ratio (IHF, A Network, short circuited, 2V Output)90dB THD @ 20Hz - 20kHz, All Control Flat Output 1 V: 0.04% THD @ 1 kHz, All Control Max. We also disassembled, cleaned and re-lubed the "varnished" power switch shaft plunger. We also, of course cleaned both the Tape Monitor and EQ Bypass switch contacts for silent operation (they were actually already quiet). Works and sounds GREAT! Looks fabulous with only some very minor scuffs on the top edge of the face plate and the sheet metal cover. Measures 16.5" wide x 13" deep x 6" high and weighs 15 lbs unpacked. The Sansui, RA-990 Reverb Amp. We have had about a half dozen of these in the past 13 years and this is the first and only one in "Silver". Unit features a really "Cool" Amber display that pulses with the beat. Reverb depth and time is completely variable for custom tailoring to your tastes. Effect can be added to recording so you can transfer the sound effect to your auto. Unit is set up to mix and custom pan from two separate sources which can include a microphone, keyboard, guitar or other instrument, or one / two of your stereo components.
