This pair is also THE CLEANEST, most 'issue-free' pair we've had! In fact, just had a fresh, professional re-veneer in beautiful walnut wood grain veneer, then rubbed with lemon oil. Grills and grill frames in great condition. All grill locating pins intact and functioning. No breaks, cat stains, tears, rips or snags to the original grill cloth. Very importantly, NONE of the very common 'midrange wrinkling' that for some reason happens to about 50% of the HPM-100's we see.

for sale

ü Our technician has completely and EXTENSIVELY gone through and 'Certified' this unit which involves complete removal and partial disassembly of the entire transport, cleaning inside and out, DISASSEMBLING, cleaning and re-lubricating all internal mechanisms and the balance of efforts listed below.

ü Heads inspected for excessive wear (obviously we do this 'early on' as 'excessive' wear will usually negate any further restoration work).

ü Head rotating gear inspected with a jewelers loop prior to starting any restoration work, and found to be 'hairline' crack free.

ü 'Gear driven' hubs, so NO reel tires for trouble-free service.

ü Main drive / capstan belt replaced for years of trouble-free service.

ü Rubber pinch roller has been reconditioned

ü Capstan burnished

ü Heads have been cleaned and de-magnetized as well as the entire transport. (Tech noted, "VERY minimal wear" to the heads on the work sheet)

ü Head alignments and azimuth at both 1kHz and 10kHz adjusted for BOTH directions for 'peak performance' with O-Scope

ü All 'user' potentiometers / controls removed, then cleaned and tested for noise-free function.

ü All internal pots, switches and controls cleaned and tested for noise-free function.

ü Both spindles in perfect alignment.

ü Heads are in great condition

ü Internal playback levels adjusted for even playback w/ alignment tape, Oscilloscope, and mVAC meter

ü Playback meters adjusted for 'playback' zero'd with factory test tone tape.

ü Internal Record amplifier channels adjusted for 'even output'

ü Pinch roller and heads all in GREAT condition!!!

ü Speed adjusted to 100% accuracy BOTH directions, with 1kHz factory calibration tape (meaning 1kHz calibration tape plays back at 1000Hz +/- 1 Hz)

ü FF, REW, & Play transport functions all test perfectly and controls tested for 'positive / accurate' responsive.

ü Eject door operates smoothly.

ü ALL Tape Counter Functions tested

ü Dolby B, C & dbx NR circuits / function tested

ü 'Memory / Zero Return' function tested

ü Cosmetics are decently clean, with typical, minor wear

ü Floor noise measured at -60 dBm

ü Plays perfectly and after adjustment, records very well at -0.5 to -1dB! on most formulations of tape however, two did 'shine' over the rest of our test tapes. We did 'test recordings' of Pink Noise and 'ddd' CD's on 6 tapes; Sony Normal Bias, Fuji Normal Bias, TDK Normal Bias, Maxell Normal Bias, TDK 'SA' High Bias, and Maxell 'XL-II' High Bias. We found that they all performed VERY well on this particular deck (although the Fuji DR-1 definitely came up 'last'). The Sony HF 'Normal Bias' did very well with both PN and ddd CD at -.5dB w/ no NR. It exhibited good saturation capabilities with minimal 'high end' loss. It recorded at -6dB w/ dbx engaged, but that was from a starting point of more than +10dB on the meters. Dolby B was -2 and C was -2. Maxell UDXL-II was at -1.5dB with PN, but with ddd CD and no NR it exhibited great recording at -1.0dB with GREAT high end retention. dbx was at -6dB down, but again, that was from a ++10dB starting point. Bottom line is it makes GREAT recordings.
Total technician time to restore 8+ HOURS!

ü  We have completely and extensively gone through the mechanicals and electronics of this unit.

ü Entire transport was disassembled down to the chassis, and every mechanical part was disassembled, cleaned, re-lubed and reassembled

ü Tape Tension arms disassembled, cleaned and re-lubed, and their springs adjusted and had fresh 300,000 grade silicone lube gel applied

ü pinch-roller mechanism completely disassembled, cleaned and re-lubed,

ü
 PR mechanism solenoid mounts adjusted

ü Capstans / flywheels removed, bushings and axels cleaned and re-lubed and flywheels burnished

ü External / User adjustable pots, switches and controls cleaned on the playback / record amp and tested for noise-free function

ü We adjusted the VU meters mechanically and electronically w/ factory test tone tapes, as well as the internal playback levels for both directions independently and record levels.

ü Floor noise measured at >-60dB w/ blank tape, L&R

ü This TEAC A-6010GSL functions, plays, and records VERY WELL (and we really put them through the paces, testing both with well mixed, recently recorded CD material and CD recorded / factory test tones looking for correct head Azimuth and speed accuracy).  (Total time investment in refurb / testing ~ 24 hours).

Face is beautiful, brushed, Stainless Steel and case is in great condition. Deck looks and works great!

The TEAC A-6010GSL Stereo Reel to Reel tape deck. Ready to GO! This is one of the few reel to reel decks we get in that make it to our finished page. Great performer. If you're looking for a reel to reel deck to "actually use" here you go. Only about 25% of the used Reel decks out there can be "practically" restored to working order. This one made it through with flying colors after about 24 hours of bench time.

Following mechanical / electronic refurb, entire unit was cosmetically detailed inside and out. Face is made of beautiful brushed Stainless Steel and is dent free and in great condition. Cabinet covered in real Walnut wood veneer, is in great condition and just had a fresh coat of lemon oil. Deck looks and sound great!

Looks great & "Ready-to-go"  TEAC -6010GSL Stereo Reel to Reel tape deck. These were later, bigger brother to the A-4010, probably the most sold R2R ever made by anybody. Just about everyone that was stationed overseas in the military during Viet Nam came back with an A-4010. The fortunate few came back with the A-6010 (a few 'better specs'). The "A-6010" was included in TEAC's 'Professional Line'. Unfortunately of course, 40 years has not been kind to Teac Reel decks (or any electro-mechanical devices that are 20 years or older). The internal lubes were never meant to last that long, certainly without maintenance, thus requiring the above stated work. Ready to go now. Will play & Record stereo 1/4" tapes on reels up to 7". This is one of the few reel to reel decks we get in that make it to our finished page. If you're looking for a reel to reel deck to "actually use" then here you go. Only about 25% of the used Reel decks out there can be "practically" restored to working order. This one made it through. Playback & transport functions test great and records well! Looks and sounds great too!
TEAC A-6010GSL Features include:

- Up to 7" reel capacity (while you could go down as far as 3" in diameter, the torque and braking on this deck has been optimized for 7"reels)
- 3 Heads for superb recording performance (actually 4 heads, but one is an extra 'playback' head so that 'Auto-Reverse' does not require 'flipping / spinning etc' of PB head, allowing for perfectly accurate azimuth of playback for either direction)
- Super-hard, FERRITE heads (Ferrite heads last WAY longer than most others)
- User adjustable BIAS and INTERNAL RECORD LEVEL controls on the rear panel (this is what sets this deck apart from it's predecessors, and one of it's most important features for recording...and NO, the "Internal Record Level" is not the same as the 'Input Level" controls on the front)

- 3 Motors for trouble free performance (has a lot to do with it still being a viable piece of gear due to less rubber parts)

- Auto-Reverse Play utilizing SEPARATE heads for each direction (again, allows for perfect Azimuth regardless of direction) (with sensing strip correctly installed on tapes)
- "Soft Touch" tape transport for control
- Dual front mounted 1/4" Microphone inputs
- Dual speeds at 7.5 ips / 19cms and 3 3/4ips / 9.5 cms (
.5%)
- Separate Concentric mic and line level controls
- Dual 1/4" front mounted mic inputs
- Source / Monitor selector for instantly monitoring record quality
- Pause control
- Left & Right output level controls
- Dual analog VU level meters
- 8-Pin port for optional TEAC RC-601 wired remote control (remote not included or available anymore from us)

TEAC A-6010GSL Specifications as follows:

Heads / Track system: 4; 4-track 2-channel stereo heads for stereo or mono, recording, forward playback, reverse playback & erase heads (Ferrite PB and REC heads)

Transport Control Type: Electronic-solenoid / Touch control: Fast Forward, Rewind, Play
Output Level: 1.0V, Max Load Impedance: 10K ohms or more (double the output of the A-4010)
Maximum Reel capacity: 7" (5" and 3" as well) ( brakes and motor torque optimized for 7" reels)
Tape speeds: 19cm/s (7-1/2 ips) and (3.75 ips)

 &
30Hz to 15,000 Hz (50-10kHz ± 2dB @ 3-3/4 ips) (1dB better than A-4010)

ü Our technician has completely and EXTENSIVELY gone through and 'Certified' this unit which involves complete removal and disassembly of the entire transport (not an easy task on this deck), cleaning inside and out, DISASSEMBLING, cleaning and re-lubricating all internal mechanisms and the balance of efforts listed below.

ü Heads inspected for excessive wear (obviously we do this 'early on' as 'excessive' wear will usually negate any further restoration work).

ü Head rotating gear inspected with a jewelers loop prior to starting any restoration work, and found to be 'hairline' crack free.

ü Capstan motor spindle bushing re-lubed

ü Capstan burnished

ü Internal 23VDC power supply tested to 23.2Volts

ü 2X NEW, 'reel drive' tires installed for years of trouble-free service. (These are actually much more important to replace on this deck (and most) than the belts. Without these, the deck won't fast wind very well, and will likely 'eat tapes' as the 'take-up' reel won't turn properly)

ü New Main Drive and Counter belts installed for trouble-free service.

ü Rubber pinch rollers have been reconditioned

ü Both Flywheel 'belt surfaces' solvent cleaned

ü Bronze Flywheel bushings solvent cleaned

ü Both Flywheel thrust pads cleaned

ü Entire flywheel assemblies re-lubed upon re-assembly

ü Head rotating mechanism's movement was slightly impeded by 'old lube' (as expected), and was cleaned and re-lubed.

ü Heads have been cleaned and de-magnetized as well as the entire transport.

ü Head alignments and azimuth at both 1kHz and 10kHz adjusted for BOTH directions for 'peak performance' with O-Scope

ü All internal pots, switches and controls cleaned and tested for noise-free function.

ü FF, REW, & Play transport functions all test perfectly and controls tested for 'positive / accurate' responsive.

ü 'Silicone Damped' Eject door operates smoothly.

ü Tape Counter Function tested

ü Dolby NR circuits / function tested

ü 'Memory / Zero Return' function tested

ü Heads are in great condition

ü Internal playback levels adjusted for even playback w/ alignment tape, Oscilloscope, and mVAC meter

ü Playback meters adjusted for 'playback' zero'd with factory test tone tape.

ü Internal Record amplifier channels adjusted for 'even output'

ü Pinch roller and heads all in GREAT condition!!!

ü Overall floor noise measured at >-60dB.

üSpeed adjusted internally to 100% accuracy BOTH directions, with 1kHz factory calibration tape and frequency counter (meaning 1kHz calibration tape plays back at 1000Hz +/- 1Hz)

ü Cosmetically, the deck looks great. The only issue worth mentioning is an old repair, to the lower / underneath edge of the 'wood grain wrapped' case / cabinet (really only notice it when you 'feel' it with your fingers trying to move the deck (not worth taking photos of). Other than that, it looks NEAR NEW!

ü Plays great and after adjustment, records AMAZINGLY well w/ following results;

> With Pink Noise recorded @ -5dB w/o Dolby engaged PB @ -1dB & @ -10dB w/o Dolby engaged PB @ 0dB on Maxell UDXL-II / High Bias tapes

> With 1kHz recorded at 0dB with Dolby engaged on Maxell UR (normal bias) & Maxell XL-II (high bias) tapes PB @ 0dB

> With 10kHz recorded at 0dB with Dolby engaged on Maxell XL-II (High bias) tapes plays back @ -6dB

With 'ddd' CD recorded at 0dB with Dolby engaged; 0 to -1dB on Maxell UDXL-II / High Bias tapes

Bottom line is this deck sounds amazing for playback or recording (always make sure you're playing back 'good quality' tape recordings)
Total technician time to restore 10.5+ HOURS!

The Teac CX-650R, Auto-Reverse with 'Bi-Directional Recording', Stereo Cassette Tape Deck. Great deck for doing your tape transfers if your tapes were recorded with no NR or with "Dolby B" or for making some awesome 'new' recordings or 'mix tapes' (hey, it's 'the thing' again). This deck is a pleasure to use, and has a great 'feel' due to it's size and transport function. As far as cosmetics, it's BEAUTIFUL. Was taken very good care of before it came to us, and is even more astounding now. The deck and the wood grain case could convince you that time had rolled back almost 40 years, and you were seeing it at the original store's retail display.

Teac CX-650R Features include:

- Heavy duty transport featuring 'oversized' capstan motor, and VERY large, 'asymmetrical' flywheels
- Triple-Mode Auto-Reverse, with 'Bi-Directional' Recording (not just 'A' side recording!)

-  "Soft touch-control" tape transport
- Selector for Normal (EX / I), CrO2 (SX / II) & Metal (ZX / IV) Tape Type
- 3-Position Selector for Tape Equalization for Normal (EX / I), CrO2 (SX / II) & Metal (ZX / IV) Tape Type on playback
- Dual Analog VU Level Meters
- Analog counter
- Built-in MPX filter for killing the 19kHz pilot tone in FM transmissions
- Variable Output Level control (one of the most important features on a deck in our opinion)
- Dolby B NR
- Record Muting
- 'Auto-Space' records a 4-second space prior to 'stop' when engaged.
- Real 'Potentiometer' Record level controls that are 'gear coupled' (meaning when you turn one, the other one responds as well. They can be turned independently for 'fine adjustment' as they're 'clutch coupled' as well)
- Memory Stop / Repeat for counter
- Dual, Front mounted, 1/4", Microphone Jacks
- Front mounted, 1/4", Stereo Headphone jack
- Timer Play / Record function.
- Multi-pin port on rear panel for optional wired remote, TEAC RC-100 (remote not included)

Again, we have completely cleaned, refurbished / serviced and thoroughly tested this Teac CX-650R cassette tape deck.
Great for transferring your no NR or Dolby B NR encoded tape collection to CD, Hard-drive or MP3 especially with the 'Tape EQ' selector for 'fine tuning' older tapes. Built very well! Looks like new, works perfectly and sounds fabulous.
Due to it's size, overall feel, the 'input controls' and the 'transport control' this deck really is a blast to use. Comes with an 'e-copy / pdf download' of the TEAC CX-650R cassette tape deck owners / users / instruction manual. Measures 18.5" wide x 13.5" deep x 7" tall and also weighs a VERY HEAVY 26 lbs unpacked. Just in-case you 'too casually' read past that last little bit,

BUFFET CLARINET
MODEL B12
INTERMEDIATE STUDENT Bb CLARINET

for sale

This clarinet is modeled after the Famous Buffet Grenadilla wood clarinets from the 'old day's'. When I worked for a 'full-line' music store thru the 1990's, we would periodically have a 'vintage' Buffet come thru and they never hung around long once serviced for re-sale. It is what most clarinet players asked for. That and Yamaha's.  This is a Buffet B12 clarinet, again, designed after the 'vintage' horns for the student / beginner and into the intermediate market. The Buffet B12 clarinets are made from ABS resin with an appearance and sound similar to that of genuine Grenadilla wood. These models are lightweight, strong and easy to clean perfect for even very young players. The Buffet B12 model has a very attractive and traditional design with nickel-plated body rings, straight key work and a traditional bell ring. The body is buffed to give the appearance of wood. The nickel silver key work is cold forged and induction soldered, providing greater stability, precision and quality. The B12 model is mounted with double fish skin pads which ensure excellent sealing.

 Features:
- Nickel plated keys, body rings & plated bell rings
- 65mm barrel
- 14.65mm poly-cylindrical bore
- Arched key cups (same as R-13 model)
- Staggered trill keys (same as R-13 model)
- Blue Needle Springs
- Adjustable 3-position thumb rest
- Ergonomic key design: Improved playing comfort like that of a professional clarinet
- Pointed needle springs for quality key action
- Undercut tone holes for improved tone quality and faster response
- High quality Double fish skin pads enables air tightness and are long lasting
- Blow-molded, hard shell case

Mouthpiece Assembly with Ligature, Cap and Mouthpiece

-           Cork Grease

-           Cleaning Swab

This clarinet retails for $925.00 (US).

AUDIO-TECHINCA
STEREO HOME AUDIO / PRO TURNTABLE
MODEL AT-LP120USB
DIRECT DRIVE
FULLY MANUAL RETURN
WITH A GREAT DIAMOND CARTRIDGE NOW INCLUDED
NEW
for sale
One of the few 'QUALITY' turntables available under a $GRAND these days! The Audio-Technica AT-LP120 stereo turntable. Similar in design to some of the vintage turntable models, such as the Kenwood KD-550 'concrete base', the Sony PS-T1, and the Technics SL-1500, SL-1600MK2 or SL-D2 turntable models. This professional stereo turntable features a high-torque, direct-drive motor for quick start-ups yet is perfectly quiet. Classic 'S' shaped tone arm with 'universal' head-shell that allows mounting of most any 'quality', 1/2' cartridge, either MM (moving magnet) or MC (moving coil). Tone-arm mounted in high quality 4-point, Gimbol bearing.
NEW UPDATE--- Now having the table shipped with a much better cartridge than previously. It's now using one of our favorite 'all around' cartridge the AT-95E, instead of the 'clunkier' AT-2N (that cartridge liked to track at an incredibly heavy 3.5 Grams!!! Yuck...) Click here for further info on the cartridge.

NEW UPDATE--- We're now including the Audio-Technica AT-95E, MM, Elliptically cut diamond cartridge with tables purchased from us at Oak Tree Vintage.

Overall Table has good mass at over 20 lbs!

Features:

- Direct drive high-torque motor
- Fully-Manual operation
- Selectable 33/45/78 RPM speeds (you will need to acquire a stylus / cartridge designed for playing '78 RPM' records to utilize that feature to it's fullest)
- Professional weight cast aluminum platter with slip mat (no PLASTIC platters here, unlike many of the NEW tables out there!)
- ½-inch mount universal head shell
- Quartz Locked speed
or
- Strobe monitored, adjustable platter speed
- Adjustable tone-arm counter weight
- Adjustable 'Anti-Skating' control
- 500,000 Silicon oil fluid hydraulic tone-arm cueing
- Internal Built-in Phono Pre-Amp of decent quality so if you MUST use this with some sort of 'home-theater-surround-sound -5.1, 7.2, or 8.BR549 receiver' that the manufacturer forgot to include the phono pre-amp on. If you have a 'REAL receiver', ie, an old-school, vintage, 2-channel receiver or integrated amp or pre-amp with a phono pre built-in, then you can flip a switch and bypass the 'built-in' phono preamp.
- USB output—connects directly to your computer for plug-&-play use
- Forward or reverse play (this is a DJ feature, and if you value your vinyl or cartridge, DON'T USE 'Reverse'! If you have a crappy cartridge and are playing 'Frisbees', then 'go for it' if you're so inclined!
-
*Comes with Mac- and PC-compatible Audacity software and cables to digitize your LPs
If you appreciate the 'organic' sound of quality vinyl, then disregard the above stuff 'USB / SOFTWARE STUFF' and just 'LISTEN' to your vinyl the way it was meant.

(6 years as a 'current' model)
MIJ

SOLD 5/3/18
SHIPPED TO MASSACHUSETTS

ü  Our technician has completely gone through and 'Certified' this unit.

ü Following ext / int visual inspection entire unit was cleaned inside and out including all contacts, switches and controls.

ü One side rebuilt by 'old school' tech

ü Heat sink compound upgraded to Silicone Pads

ü Bias adjusted to correct spec.

ü Switches and controls now clean sounding and performing solidly.

ü All functions tested for perfect operation.

ü All inputs tested and both side produces clean and even sine waves!

ü No power supply hum of any kind. It's dead silent!

ü Following electronic refurb, entire unit was cosmetically detailed.

This is one the second Marantz 1060 we've had in 23 years, and we've owned this one for over a decade before deciding to finally get it into the shop for it's restoration / service. Classic brushed aluminum face plate with the original aluminum knobs.
Following 12+ hours of restoration procedures, the unit was ran continuously at medium volume, as all our amplifier / receivers are, into a 4 Ohm load with "Loudness" on and both Tone Controls at 10 for 48 hours.

On our test bench the internal amplifiers of this particular unit, #...1938, produced 19 Volts per channel at 8 ohms for 45 Watts per channel and 13 Volts at 4 ohms for 44 Watts per channel via discrete, TO-3 / Metal Cased outputs.
Idle current draw 0.4A.
DC out measured at <3mV on either side.
Very quiet with Floor noise measured at <00.0mVAC.

____________________________

Probably "The Definitive" of Marantz Integrated amps, and the one that most are compared to. Heck, just check how long it's model was kept current. 6 YEARS! It wasn't until 1979 that they changed it to the 1070, which has the 'less desirable', 'linear' tone controls.
Just the right features & sonically magnificent!
Great amp for home or project recording studio use.

Marantz 1060 Integrated Amplifier Features and 'Creature Comforts' include:

- Produces full power into only '8 Ohms' (most amps can only produce their full power potential into 4 Ohms)

- Low Filter with 15Hz cut-off built-in for cutting turntable rumble
- Super quality volume control
- 3-Band EQ / Separate Bass, Mid and Treble with high quality de-tented controls
- Pre-Out / Power-Amp Loop (includes pair of original Marantz Jumpers)

- Front mounted 1/4" stereo headphone jack
- Back panel features full RCA patch bay for all inputs (each 'fastened separately' to the rear panel, and 'point to point' wired internally, instead of being soldered directly to the circuit board, which is always a 'failure point').

-
1 Switched and 1 un-switched AC outlets for a maximum load of 260 Watts of external gear.

Marantz 1060 Original Specifications:

This Fisher CA-271, Integrated Amplifier was a 'sleeper' when we originally acquired it. We thought it would be too 'recent' to bother with, but then we did our preliminary tests and quickly changed our opinion. Once our tech got finished with it, we were thoroughly surprised and impressed. It has a lot of punch and headroom (check our bench test results above against it's original specs) and is VERY MUSICAL sounding. Large internal power supply, relative to most amps in it's range.

Great performing and 'classic' looking NAD 3120 Integrated Amplifier. Essentially a more 'pure' version of it's predecessor, the 3120, in that they removed the 'tone control' circuit, and the LED power display.
Amazing sounding integrated power amplifier
to provide the heart of a smaller to medium sized Hi-Fi system or 'project recording studio'. Unit looks, works and sounds great!

From the original Brochure,
"Designed for Real-World Performance: Specification tables and magazine test reports confirm that virtually all modern amplifiers measure well in the lab, with impressive figures for parameters such as the power output at 8 Ohms and the S/N with a shorted phono input.  But outside of the lab, amps are not all equal.
At home you don't listen to signal generators, short-circuits or 8-Ohm test resistor loads. you listen to complex and dynamic musical waveforms, generated by phono cartridges and reproduced through loudspeakers whose true impedance is rarely stable at only 8 Ohms.  So, rather than incorporating costly refinements that yield little or no audible benefit, NAD's "real world" approach to product design is focused on obtaining optimum performance under the conditions of everyday use....
Instead of the usual low-cost IC, the phono preamplifier section is a newly designed, discrete transistor circuit whose performance matches that of far more expensive preamp systems.  It interfaces correctly with the 'high impedance' of many magnetic pickup cartridges: it's RIAA equalization is precise: and it is virtually 'distortion-less' - not only with simple 'sine-wave' test tones, but also with dynamic, 'musical waveforms', 30dB above average level.  It's signal / noise ratio is close to the theoretical limit, not only with the short-circuit input that is often used for specifications, but also when a cartridge is connected.  It's total dynamic range is approximately 106dB."

NAD 3120 Features include:

- Discrete Output, Class A-B Amplifier design
- Impedance selector for either 8 or 4 Ohms speakers, which means that you can get 100% of the potential power into just one pair of 8 Ohm speakers. (most amplifiers do not deliver more than 50 to 70% of their 'potential' power unless connected to a 4 Ohm load. This is BIG DEAL!)
- Pre-Out / Main-In loop
-
I/O jacks and Speaker output posts feature 'Point to Point' wiring, so connections are 'stress free' on the circuit boards (all gear should be designed like this, but its 'too expensive' for most of the general public now
- 'Speaker / Tweeter Saving' "Soft Clipping" (defeatable if listener desires or to do 'bench testing')

- 'TRUE' Tape monitor (Tape Monitors can be used with Video / CD / DVD / VCR / DAT / MP3 / iPod® / iPad® / iPhone® / iTouch® / iGadget / MP3 / XM® / SIRUS® CDR (CD recorders as well as for inserting signal processors, such as EQ's, Reverbs, Spatial Enhancers / Dynamic Processors, Noise Reduction units, Special Effects units, Time Delays, etc)
- Phono / Turntable input
- 'Moving Coil' or 'Moving Magnet' cartridge selector (which means there is a 'head amp' for MC built-in. That alone is worth quite a lot of $$$)
- Tuner input (can also be used for ( Video / CD / DVD / VCR / DAT / MP3 / iPod® / iPhone® / iTouch® / iGadget / MP3 / XM® / SIRUS® etc. inputs)

- Loudness control. "Loudness" functions to boost Bass and Treble in relationship to Mid frequencies at lower volume levels for a much fuller sound
-  Heavy duty, 'Binding / Banana' post speaker outputs
- 1/4" stereo headphone jack
- Dual AC Convenience outlets (1 switched and 1 un-switched) with a total capacity of 250 Watts

VERY WELL BUILT B&H 254RA Regular 8mm movie film / cine projector.
Following about 6.5 hours of tech time, it now projects smoothly and is very quiet running. Features easy Semi-Auto-Loading for film ("Semi" is how we describe it, as it 'Auto-Loads' thru all of the initial film gate, then you manually direct the film from thru the external rollers / guides to the 'take-up' reel). Very easy to use and works very well. Japanese made, Bell & Howell, "Increlite" 1" Zoom lens is an especially 'sharp & crisp' imaging lens f=/1.6 (and this one is no exception to that. Focuses VERY well). Will play forward or backward, with or without the lamp. Has frame-adjust lever for fine tuning frame size. Utilizes model DFC / DFN / DFA / DJL 125 volt, 150 watt projection lamp. Front adjustment foot allows for ~1.5" of height angle adjustment. Very well built all metal construction. We have completely checked out all functions and made any necessary adjustments and lubed drive assembly where applicable. New main drive belt installed. This unit is ready to go. Looks and works great! Great projector for previewing films and organizing them, prior to sending out to be transferred to another format, or for simply viewing your 'regular-8' movies. We actually sent a very similar model to this to the University of Florida Library for their 'Archive' department.
Comes with metal take-up reel
, lid / front cover  and a spare projection lamp. Also includes our standard 90 day limited warranty (excluding lamps / bulbs). Measures 9.5" wide x 9" deep x 13" tall (with film arms folded) and weighs 12 lbs unpacked. Film shown in photos not included.

Following about 4 hours of tech time, it now projects silent film at 18fps Runs and works flawlessly. Features fairly easy Auto-Loading of  film, but as always, it's important to utilize film with leaders installed for the best chance at preserving film (insert film until it protrudes from rear of projector before engaging 'Motor'). Very easy to use and works very well.  Has frame-adjust knob for fine tuning frame size. Also has built-in film trimmer. Utilizes model  DJA / DFP 120 Volt / 150 Watt projection lamp. Front adjustment foot allows for ~1.5" of height angle adjustment.
Great projector for previewing films and organizing them, prior to sending out to be transferred to another format, or for simply viewing your 'Regular-8' or ' Super-8mm' movies.

GAF 1388Z Projector Features:

- Regular and Super 8mm silent film formats
- Bright 120 Volt / 150 Watt projection lamp
- Forward 'Play' with or without lamp (saves on lamp life when you simply need to advance film)
- Automatic film loading and take-up reel threading
- Internally adjusted so that you can 'Re-Wind' while film is still threaded through projector (handy if you need to reverse film and you would still have a LONG way to go thru normal play, simply to get to the end)
- Frame center adjust
- 400 foot reel capacity
- Precision built internally
- No expensive, difficult to adjust cloth belt drive system like the more complicated GAF built projectors from this period. That is a HUGE plus with the "Forward Only" GAF designs (again from this period).

This unit is ready to go. Looks and works great!  Comes with take-up reel,
lid / front cover, 1 reel hub adaptor for your Super 8mm reels, if you use them. Includes an extra / spare projector bulb / lamp.
Also includes our standard 90 day limited warranty (excluding lamps / bulbs). Measures 11" long x 6.5" deep x 9" tall and weighs 10 lbs unpacked. Film shown in photos not included.

ü Our technician has completely gone through and 'Certified' this unit.

ü
We have completely and extensively gone through the mechanicals of this projector.

ü It was disassembled internally for restoration including all the drive for cleaning and re-lubing prior to disassembly.

ü 3 Belts replaced; Main drive belt from motor, The 'serpentine' hub drive belt, and the cooling fan belt for trouble-free service.

ü Both hub mechanisms checked for proper function. All 'idler pulleys and wheels' removed, cleaned and re-lubed.

ü Rewind hub tire reconditioned.

ü Lens track mechanism cleaned and re-lubed with silicone gel lube (note, by design, the 'focus' knob has what seems like 'excessive' play, but that's to allow motion and removal of lens.)

ü Lens cleaned front and back as well.

ü 'Shuttle' mechanism and associated cam cleaned and re-lubed, as well as the eccentric framer mechanism.

ü Film gate cleaned as well as film track.

ü Take-Up reel clutch tension adjusted to not allow film to 'spill' during PB, but to allow Re-Wind, you'll want to have your left hand ready as a 'reel brake' if you stop rewinding 'mid-stream'.

ü Variable speed control knob allows FULL range of 'Rheostat'

ü Following mechanical work, entire unit was cosmetically detailed inside and out.

ü Then checked out all functions and made any necessary adjustments and extensively tested with both Super 8 and Regular 8mm film.

Freshly refurbished / fully serviced, DeJur (GAF) 86Z, Dual 8mm Film / movie / cine projector with variable speed control built-in. Following about 5.5 hours of tech time, it's now Perfectly smooth and very quiet running. Features Auto-Loading of film, is easy to use and that works well. Front spindle will accept Regular or Super-8 reels.

DeJur 86Z Features:

- Regular and Super 8mm silent film formats
- Variable Speed capability for "flicker-free" film to video transfers
- DeJur "Chromtar', 20-32mm Zoom Lens rated f 1.5

- 21V / 150 Watt, 'MR16' type, "EVJ" projection lamp
- Forward or Reverse operation with or without the lamp (saves unnecessary lamp wear)
- Automatic film loading
- Frame center adjust
- 400 foot reel capacity
- Super quiet and very precision built internally
- Adjustable front foot
- Built-In film Trimmer
- 'Room Light' AC outlet (turns on any accessory lamp when projector is 'off')

Will play forwards or backward with or without the lamp. Again, has variable film projection speed control to enable "flicker-free" film to video transfers. Utilizes model EJV 21Volt / 50 Watt projection lamp
which has great 'economy' for two reasons. Firstly it has an average rated lifespan of 40 hours, vs the typical 4-20 on most other projector lamps. Secondly, it can typically be found for one half, to one third the price of most other projector lamps. If you're a 'media transfer business', over time, this is a BIG DEAL!!!
Front adjustment foot allows for ~2.5" of height angle adjustment.
Again, following the above mentioned service, this unit is ready to put to work. Looks great and works well. It would make a great tool for anyone involved in film to video transfer business as it can provide flicker-free images in both Regular 8mm and Super-8mm formats. Comes with take-up reel
, lid / front cover and an EXTRA "EVJ" projection lamp / bulb. Also includes our standard 90 day limited warranty (excluding lamps / bulbs). Measures 12.5" long x 7" deep x 11.5" tall (when un-folded) and weighs ~15 lbs unpacked. Film in photos not included.

Considerably different than most of the rest of the 300 & 400 series projectors. Not only does it also have variable speed, but it uses an ingenious "torque converter" mechanism to do adjust it.
Easy to use Auto-Loading, smooth running and accurate for loading film. Zoom Lens is a US made, B&H model, and specs as follows: f=/1.2 & 19mm-32mm. "WORLD AC POWER"
  Made in Japan

SOLD 12/2/16
SHIPPED TO NEW YORK

VERY WELL BUILT, all metal construction, Sekonic, model '30-J', Regular 8mm movie film / cine projector. This is a very well designed projector, that was meant to last. Since it has variable speed (widely ranging), and a zoom-lens it is well suited for doing 'film to video transfers'. Original Japanese made, 'S-Resonar-Zoom' Lens; specs 1:1.5 w/ f-15-25 zoom range. Lens is 'cloud free', clean and is quality enough to project a crisp, clean, clear and focused image, even to a majority of the image edges (most 'home' grade projectors start to 'fall off' pretty quickly towards the image edges, due to low quality optics in the lens). Projector will play forwards or backwards (no still and film must 'play thru to end' to enable 'fast wind' mode). Has frame-adjust lever for fine tuning frame position. Utilizes model DCA 21.5 volt, 80 watt projection lamp
(Fresh one installed prior to shipment).

 Sekonic 30-J Features:

 - Regular / Standard 8mm, silent film Projector
 - Electronic Variable Speed
 - 'Semi-Auto / Manual Loading' (that works great)
 - Ultra-Bright 'Resonar' Zoom Lens - f=/1.5, Zoom 15-25mm
 - Forward or Reverse Projection
 - Can be run without lamp (useful for 'playing out reel' without burning lamp life)
 - Accommodates up to 400' reels
 - DCA 21.5 V / 150 watt bulb / lamp (may also use lamps; DEF / DCF)
 - 'Take-up' Reel included
 - Built-in Film Trimmer
 - Adjustable 'Front Tilt / Angle' Foot
 - Very durable 'Toggle switch' controls
 - Single Frame advance knob
 - 'Swing-Out' lens housing for easy film gate cleaning
 - 'Room Light' outlet
 - All metal housing
 - High Power, 'Turbine' cooling fan prolongs film life and protects film
   - True “WORLD AC POWER"™
as it will work on both 50 or 60 Hz AC and voltages from 110-240 volts AC

Front adjustment foot allows for ~1.5" of height angle adjustment. Very well built, 'all metal' construction. We have completely gone through this projector. It was approximately 80% disassembled internally for restoration including the drive motor for re-lubing. Both hubs had the shafts pulled, cleaned and re-lubed (prior to that they are almost always frozen due to "varnished" lube). Hub clutch, completely dismantled, cleaned and re-lubed. This particular model utilizes very smartly designed clutches which is about the best design and virtually trouble-free with their fresh cleaning and lube. Motor disassembled, cleaned and bushings lubed. Main drive belt and both hub drive belts replaced with new. The main drive worm / cog gears cleaned and re-lubed. We checked out all functions and made any necessary adjustments. Only minor issue with unit is that when 'rewinding' longer films, it get's a bit sluggish towards the end and may need to be 'helped' along with larger reels (fairly common issue with a variety of machines, regardless of restoration). There are no rubber drive tires / wheels to crack, glaze or deteriorate, so no need to worry about one failing down the road. Should service be required in the future (probably not for a few years), this unit is designed to be very 'serviceable'. Speed control is via the built-in rheostat. A very durable design. Again, this unit had extensive restoration (about 7 hours) and came out GREAT!!! This unit is ready to go. Looks and works great! This would be a good "work horse" for a film transfer house. This one includes the original case, box and accessories. Comes with a metal take-up reel, a copy of the instruction manual, an EXTRA projection lamp / bulb (DCA), as well as a NEW / FRESH DCA 21.5V / 150 Watt projection lamp. Also includes our standard 90 day limited warranty (excluding lamps / bulbs). Measures 10" wide x 7" deep x 11" tall (with film arms folded) and weighs ~13 lbs unpacked. Film shown in photos not included.

We have completely checked through this unit! Cleaned inside and out. Internal worm gear, main drive mechanism was completely cleaned of old lube and re-lubed with silicon gel, as well as both nylon gears. A fresh, new main drive belt was installed. Reel hub drive belt reconditioned and has great tension. We then modified it by adding 'external' variable Speed controls to eliminate 'flicker' / strobe effect when doing film to video transfers. Film gate cleaned as well as track. We also, very importantly, cleaned the internal 'record' switch to eliminate playback static. Auto-load mechanism works well when used correctly. Lens is clean with no cloudiness, fungus or loose elements. We then checked out all functions and made any necessary adjustments and extensively tested Super 8 sound film.
Unit loads, runs both forward and reverse very smoothly with great precision. No clunky-ness. Great for doing film to video transfers since it has a nice, sharp lens and variable speed. Appears to have been built by Sankyo, one of our favorite projector manufacturers.

 - Magnetic audio playback
 - Microphone Input
 - Automatic Limiter of audio via the Mic or AUX jacks

 - EXTRA LARGE 180m / 600 foot reel capacity
 - Super quiet and very precision built
 - Elevation adjustment foot for front of projector

Will allow projections speed of either 18 or 24 frames per second, but we have modified it and installed "speed control" pots on each of the projection speeds, for "flicker-free" film to video transfers. Very well built machine. Again, we have done all of the above mentioned refurbishment work and completely checked out all functions. Utilizes an EFP, MR-16 12V/ 100W projection lamp / bulb. This unit is ready to go. Looks and works great! Comes with take-up reel and a spare projection lamp. Includes our standard 90 day limited warranty (excluding lamps / bulbs). VERY WELL BUILT, all metal construction, Keystone, model K-540 Super-8mm, Variable Speed movie film / cine projector. We love working on Keystone projectors as they are generally very 'smartly' designed, using internal 'chain' drive, and hub clutches that 'WORK'! Fully Manual Loading! Also very importantly, features Variable Speed projection rate for flicker-free video transfers!  Original Keystone, 18-30mm 'ZOOM' Lens; specs f=/1.4. Projector will play forwards or backwards and has a "still" mode. Has frame-adjust lever for fine tuning frame size. Utilizes model DFG 120 volt, 150 watt projection lamp. One installed prior to shipment. Front adjustment foot allows for ~1.5" of height angle adjustment. Very well built all metal construction. We have completely gone through this projector. It was approximately 70% disassembled internally for restoration, including both reel arms and their internal transmissions. Both hub drive clutches had the shafts pulled, cleaned and re-lubed (prior to that they are almost always frozen due to "varnished" lube). This particular model utilizes very smartly designed clutches which is about the best design and virtually trouble-free with their fresh cleaning and lube. Motor bushings lubed. Surface of the shutter wheel cleaned of old rubber residue. Both drive chains removed, 'soak' cleaned and re-lubed w/ silicone grease. We also disassembled both reel arms completely, removed, cleaned and re-lubed all 6 arm gears. All main drive chain gears cleaned and re-lubed. We checked out all functions and made any necessary adjustments and lubed internal drive assembly including all internal 'worm' drive gears with silicon lube. New main, cloth  drive drive belt ordered and installed. New & fresh shutter flywheel belt installed. Balance of projector is "chain drive" with no rubber parts to fail. The motor in this unit does not utilize a capacitor for starting or speed accuracy, so no need to worry about one failing down the road. Speed control is via the built-in rheostat. A very durable design. Again, this unit had extensive restoration (about 8 hours) and came out GREAT!!! This unit is ready to go. Looks decent, with minor finish scuffs and works great! This would be a good "work horse" for a film transfer house. Comes with a metal take-up reel as well as  projection lamp. Also includes our standard 90 day limited warranty (excluding lamps / bulbs). Measures 8.25" wide x 8.5" deep x 14" tall (with film arms folded) and weighs 13 lbs unpacked. Film shown in photos not included.

 7" x 1/4" Tape
 Cat # 44-1018A
 'Low Noise' / Normal Bias

for sale
Pre-Recorded, 1/4" X 7" (18cm), Realistic / Radio Shack, 'CONCERTape', 1800 ft reel to reel tape.
Great tape for general purpose recording.

These are 1800' / 548.6 meters and 1.0 MIL thick, and include individual, boxes with a plastic reel. More than enough length for most LP's at 7.5ips (fast, consumer speed) for 90 minutes combined sides (180 minutes at 3.75ips). According to an original catalog, "1-Mil base of heavy-duty Polyester resists breaking and stretching while giving you extra-wide response.""   Will work on any 'head format', meaning 'quarter track', 'half-track', 'full-track', '4-track / '8-track' / 'multi-track', stereo or mono tape recorders / decks. Reels are 'light gray' plastic. Leaderless tape.
We have actually found that 'Normal' bias tape works best on the older decks such as the pre 1980 Akai's, Concertone's, Craigs, Crowns, Grundigs, Kenwoods, Pioneers, Realistics, Sansui's, Sony TC's, Tandbergs, Teacs, Telefunkens, etc. We have gotten some fine recordings using this tape, and due to the extreme 'retention' of high bias tape some times it is difficult to erase. These always seem to erase fine.

Most are at least 1800 feet and some with leaders intact and may or may not include individual box (often do). Most have been used and will have recordings on them.
Boxes and / or reels may have extraneous labels and / or marking on them. Reels may have blemishes / nicotine staining / dust etc. You will need to come up with your own labels as even if they are in the box, they likely aren't "sticky" anymore. Due to unpredictability of stocks we cannot "cherry pick" brands so they are always assorted. Plastic reels may be clear or black. Will work on any 'head format', meaning 'quarter track', 'half-track', 'full-track', '4-track / '8-track' / 'multi-track', stereo or mono tape recorders / decks. Use a bulk eraser or will simply erase when new recordings are made on your deck (assuming your 'erase' is functioning).

HEY, WHY ALL THE 'X'd' OUT / OMITTED SPECS AND TEXT?

Yes, we know, EVERYTHING (at least all the receivers) are SOLD OUT
currently.
We will be posting more in the future.
We are currently focusing resources on expanding our receiver 'Parts Department' AND 'refurbished' stereo receivers sell faster than we can get them refurbished, and it's a slow process getting them ready.
