about parts sales
* Our "parts units" & parts are primarily archived for the purpose of
restoration / repair of "Oak Tree Vintage" units first. Only if we do not have a
"viable" unit
in yet, either already in process or in line to be processed, that may
potentially need parts from a "parts unit", will we release available parts for
sale. As many of you know, the restoration of a unit can be a long, time
consuming process. We may "lock up" parts that we may potentially need in the
restoration of a unit. The parts are valued by the "potential value" of the unit
they can be applicable to, time to extract, their rarity & condition to name a few criteria.
A non-response to an email request for a part (we may have),
likely means that we are still determining which parts we are going to need for
the restoration or repair of a unit. Again, the parts are first for the restoration of our units and
secondarily for the public market. Since we list the parts available for
ourselves, it is not much effort to modify the menu's for web publication.
Frankly, publishing them to the web, in many instances, makes it easier for us
to determine if we have the part for our needs as well. The alternative would be
to not offer them at all to the public, however most parts are always available
to the public for sale. Thank you for your understanding.

 (click on the above thumbnails to enlarge photos) VINTAGE & ORIGINAL RHODES SUITCASE 88 SOLD 3/20/06 "Eighty Eight" ELECTRIC PIANO W/ FR-7054, 4X12 SPEAKER / AMP for sale Circa 1975 Beautiful looking and sounding Rhodes, Suitcase 88, Electric Piano. "Living Room" example. Hardly a mark on it. Doesn't appear to have ever been on the road or gigged with. We have gone through it cleaning all, adjusting tines, action and pickups and completely tuning. All electronic controls cleaned for silent operation. Connector joints inspected and re-soldered where necessary. All Four original "Fender" 12" speakers intact and in perfect shape and working order. The speaker codes all match and are: 008498 / 137 / 7532. Stereo Amplifier output section utilizes four Delco, 120725 / 7517, TO-3 Metal cased output transistors for lots of volume @ 50 watts per channel for 100 watts total. Black Tolex in near "New" condition. Lid for keyboard included with all it's original latches and hinges intact and in perfect shape. Original Fender type speaker grill cloth in perfect shape. Original logos intact and shiny. Sustain pedal has been adjusted and works perfectly. We also adjusted the pedal damper mechanism. All tines and pickups in great shape. Any missing hammer tips have were replaced with correct and original parts. Entire keyboard correctly tuned based on A-440 with a very accurate, Chromatic, Analog tuner. Action is good and very playable with level keys. Keys in great shape with no missing or chipped edges. Electronics work perfectly including the Tremolo. (No "weird" or extra tremolo sounds like a few that we have had.) Ready to go and looks incredible. Detachable AC cord and amp-keyboard cable fits in compartment in lid. Comes with copy of owners manual that includes instructions for adjusting tone / timbre and pickup volume. Pre-packed dimensions; Keyboard 54.5" x 23.5" x 9.5" & 121 lbs. Amp / Speaker 45.5" x 26" x 13" and 91 lbs. Again these are "unpacked" dims. Cond. 8.5++ SOLD 3/20/06 Prefer Colorado Springs located Pick-up, but we can ship it as well. Example; DHL to NY with both units being insured separately for the full purchase price would currently (as of 2/06) run $355 for appropriate Packing, Ship and full insurance via Ground transit. |

the tip. If yours is broken we need the length of the longest neighbor.
Use a very accurate metric measuring stick for this.
