This is a new, fresh roller with new rubber and new brass bushing for your Pioneer RT-707 / RT-701 / RT707 / RT701 Reel to Reel Deck. If your roller has never been replaced or is over 8-12 years old, it's time. If your Pioneer RT-707 / RT-701 / RT707 / RT701 rubber pinch / pressure roller is causing mis-tracking, slipping, excessive Wow & Flutter, are "gummy", cracked, glazed hard, have rounded-off edges or is disintegrating and your belt has turned to "tar",  or is not turning the counter, then here you go!

This is the RIGHT Rubber Pinch Roller part # RXX-227 / RXA-759 (Less hubcap). While the left may at first appear to you to be the same, IT IS NOT! 
Left side "Shift" roller part # RXX-228 / RXA-760 is made of black anodized aluminum and should never wear out.

Breathe new life into your classic Pioneer RT-707 / RT-701 tape recorder. These have been discontinued from Pioneer, so get them while you can. We currently have a few back in stock to sell (the rest we're keeping for our decks.

Our kit comes with a new, fresh counter belt to replace the REB-205, and VERY legible graphics of the applicable Pioneer service manual sections.
