An entry level Audio-Technica AT-3482P. Will fit turntables requiring a "P-mount" cartridge. Definitely keeps a lid on the budget. Features a Bonded Conical 0.7 mil Diamond stylus for tracking and extended record life. Utilizes Audio-Technicas' own Vector-Aligned dual magnet design for sonic generation.
 Specs are as follows:

- Frequency Response: 20-20kHz
- Output strong 5 mV @ 1kHz
- Recommended Vertical Tracking Force 1.0-2.0 grams
- Recommended loading impedance 47K ohms (standard, requires only standard phono pre-amp built-into most gear).


If you are looking for a cartridge for minimal listening to your albums, not recording and your budget will not bear the cost of the above mentioned cartridges then this would make an OK sounding cartridge for your "P" mount turntable. (If you're looking to do much recording "bite the bullet and spend a bit more money for one of the above mentioned cartridges. The quality will be appreciably better and given the amount of time you will invest in your recordings the extra dollars spent at this time will be trivial over time.)
